It's skiing day for Camden

Camden loves skiing, arguably just as much as his daddy. He talks about it all the time and knows all the gear necessary for the task. We lucked out and Dean's cousin had a set of skis his son had outgrown and gave them to Camden on loan. Finally last month Dean had a day off and the weather was just right so he told Camden he could go skiing. My mom was in town, Ashtyn had just been born. Camden, Grandma and I went to Wheeler Farm that morning and then we came home and got ready to go skiing up at Alta. Camden has outgrown his ski clothes he had from last season (they were 12 months). But our nice neighbors gave Camden their son's old snow clothes so he wouldn't freeze!

We pulled up and Camden yelled Hurray Skiing!

We put his car seat in Daddy's car so he could ride up with daddy and uncle Justin. My mom and I came separate in the van so that we could take Camden home and daddy and Justin could hit the slopes afterwards.

Camden's favorite thing to do is crash! He does this with his dirt bike too but skiing has the added intensive of being able to eat the snow when you fall down.

This was a big work out for daddy to hold Camden the whole time while skiing. Camden isn't strong enough or coordinated enough to ski on his own. Maybe in a year or two. But it tops the charts for one of the best days for him. He talks about it all the time and can't wait until he can go again.

After we were done Camden was very sad that he had to go home and daddy and Justin got to stay! He cried until he fell asleep.

When we got home I tried to take his snow suit off so he wouldn't be so hot while sleeping but he woke up and started to cry for Deano and wouldn't take off his snow clothes until daddy got home. He wouldn't go back to sleep either :(
