Our house...in the middle of the street

So these pictures aren't very exciting because it is a mostly empty house but I will tell you guys a little bit about it. We just got this house in Sandy, Utah...it is an older house but we decided that was the route we wanted to go because of our budget and the location we wanted to live in. We looked at a lot of different houses and the newer ones we liked were too far west for us so we decided to start looking at older homes in Sandy and we stumbled across this one on Monday. We walked in the door and Dean said, we'll buy it! Before looking at anything he knew this was the one.  It has a great location by a new Wal-Mart, Lowes, Cafe Rio...plus it is about 5 mins from the base of the canyon where Dean goes skiing and about 5 mins from the South Towne Shopping center! Dean also loves that it has a big garage that he can now store all of his stuff in and work on the cars! I love that there is lots of storage, a backyard and a nice updated kitchen!

It has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths and is a split entry with 2400sq feet

The grass needs to be redone...they seeded it on top of what looks like sand so it didn't grow in well. 

There will be lots of fun projects to do and it will look so bare when we move in. It is exciting to have our own house, it is very similar to both our parents first homes.

We are just waiting on inspections and all that fun stuff but as long as everyone pans out ok then we will be proud homeowners! We are planning on closing in 3 weeks!
